Comfort season
Embracing simple pleasures
It’s a dark season, literally and figuratively — a natural time to seek comforts. I’m taking inspiration from Scandinavia and their concept? practice? of hygge (pronounced hoo-gah), which embraces being cozy & comfortable with community. Cue the fuzzy blankets, hot drinks, tea lights, slippers, bonfires with friends, and anything else that feels comforting or grounding.
What are your favorite cozy and hygge things to do this time of year? I need all the ideas!

Allison- For me it’s fuzzy socks and warm sweater. Coupled with a mug of something warm.
All the comfy pants and throw blankets. Hot soaks in the tub after the kiddo goes to sleep. And hot cocoa as often as needed.
